Given the massive rise of AI this year, it is not surprising that more and more people are interested in the field and wish to pursue a relevant degree and career. It is an exciting field with many job opportunities. Given some of the more contentious issues of AI, we can hope that many people entering the field of AI and computer science in general will lead to solutions being found more easily.
