Never underestimate knowing another language apart from english! For many employers it serves as a sign that you, as a potential employee, is highly dedicated and intelligent. Learning a new language can be tough but it pays off :hugs: Also also, it is a great article to understand what languages can be more beneficial to know nowadays.

This is a really interesting post ! I’m really surprised to see Arabic is so high up in the list , I can imagine it would be so interesting to learn but also challenging due to the different alphabet. The immersion programmes also seem really useful , I’m currently trying to learn Portuguese and French and I definitely think immersing myself in an environment where I’m encouraged to speak the languages would improve my proficiency. :+1:

its so important to learn a language, not just to speak with someone but to really understand them on another level - there’s just so many advantages… Arabic is definitely the most difficult language to learn and its something I want to learn too!

I speak Cantonese and Mandarin, I studied french for over 7 years and I really want to improve on my skills through speaking with more french locals! I also learned Korean and British Sign Language for about a year!
