Just to add - I know so many teachers who have moved on from the classroom into amazing careers elsewhere thanks to the skills they’ve developed as classroom teachers. This list goes to show how wide the field of “education” is, and the multiple career paths open to someone starting out as a teacher.

Something interesting that my parents used to tell me was that there is a supposed hierarchy in regards to how influential people are in someone’s life.

  1. Yourself
  2. Family
  3. Teachers
  4. Friends
  5. Stranger

This was something I always stuck with me, teachers/ Gurus are super important and they influence you a lot more then you might think.
