You might have heard that recently, language learning application Duolingo has decided to replace a portion of their human translators with AI. Is this a smart move? Does AI truly have the capacity at this moment to replace humans in the world of translation?

Hmm, tough one! I reckon AI’s handy, but when it comes to languages, humans bring that personal touch. So, I’d say a mix of both could be the way to go!
It’s a difficult one, tbh! Although i think AI would definitely offer speed and cost benefits, it may struggle with nuances and cultural context that humans would definitely be better at. So time will tell how beneficial this decision turns out to be
