I can probably speak for many people when I say we are tired of American horror films and it’s time to give foreign movies a chance.

If you are a film student interested in the horror genre, these Halloween-themed foreign movies can provide valuable insights into different cultural approaches to horror and storytelling.

Here are six outstanding Halloween-themed foreign films along with what you can learn about them:

Not a fan of horror movies, but it’s great to see some non-Hollywood suggestions, none of which I’d ever heard of (not surprising as I don’t watch horror movies as I said!).

Just to add to your list, @jaramillopaula12, the New Zealand “mockumentary” What We Do in the Shadows is good fun! (Ignore the IMDb rating - on Rotten Tomatoes the movie scores 96 out of 100.)

i really liked a tale of two sisters! I would also recommend japanese horror films if you like gore :rofl:
