Networking is arguably the most important thing in the world of business. You can be the most qualified and educated individual in the world, but if you don’t have a network or any connections, you’re never going to find a job - particularly one that you are completely suited to.

That’s why networking is so important. In actual fact, you might find that having a strong network presents you with opportunities that you wouldn’t have otherwise come across. You might even be presented with a job which would otherwise be out of reach (perhaps it didn’t even make it to job sites because the employer wanted someone from their network, or someone else’s network).

Here are some tips to start networking. Top tip: networking isn’t just having an account on LinkedIn, although it does help!
