Oh, this sounds amazing! I just signed up too! I’ve been really interested in how geography can tie into environmental sustainability and social justice. Do you know if they’ll be touching on any of that during the webinar? Would love to hear more about how geography teachers can incorporate those topics into their lessons!

I ended up having to go to a meeting during the webinar time (boooo), but that is a big part of geography! I know that the overlap of geography, environmental science, and social justice has been massively emphasized throughout my studies. It’s also important to incorporate into teaching because it makes students see issues from all possible perspectives while assessing the equity of the issue and its solutions.
