As an Intern, Public Affairs, you will support the monitoring and analysis of public affairs trends, stakeholders and partners.

Main responsibilities

  • Monitors and analyses on a daily basis policy platforms-processes-meetings (such as United Nations system, European platforms, other regional bodies) and trends and emerging issues on key topics (gender equality/LGBTQI, sustainability, migrants/refugees, education, peace, human rights, health) through the dedicated public affairs monitoring tool and consultation of key stakeholders’ and partners’ websites.
  • Coordinates the provision of timely intelligence and actionable insight to the public affairs team during daily dedicated meetings and through written reports.
  • Provides occasional support when increased monitoring of key events-meetings is necessary.
  • Coordinates the daily editorial meetings of the public affairs team to build the daily trends.
  • Prepares briefings on country-specific political developments and political stakeholders.

Our requirements

  • University Degree in International Relations, Political Sciences.
  • Work experience in international affairs, in particular UN and EU systems.
  • Excellent writing skills in English and French. Additional languages an advantage.
  • Good understanding of social media analytics tools (Sysomos or others).
  • Excellent command of the corporate tools and ability to follow the internal user rules (Outlook, other Microsoft Office applications etc.).
  • Good ability to conduct research, and analyse and summarise complex issues. Ability to express orally and in writing ideas or facts clearly and credibly.
  • Good understanding of global political environments and how they affect sport and its role in society.
  • Good knowledge of the UN system and the EU platforms, US affairs. Knowledge of other regional bodies an advantage.
