The one i keep hearing is that chemicals being present in the product makes it toxic😅

OMG, totally! It’s crazy how many people think that just because something has chemicals in it, it automatically means it’s toxic, right? But actually, that’s such a big misconception. I mean, everything is made up of chemicals, even the most natural stuff like water and fruits!

I’ve learned that it’s not about whether something has chemicals or not, but rather what specific chemicals are in it and in what concentration. Plus, there are so many regulations in place to ensure that the cosmetics we use are safe for us. So, I always try to educate people about this misconception and encourage them to look beyond just the word “chemical” and consider the actual ingredients and their safety profiles. It’s all about making informed choices and not falling for fear-mongering about chemicals!

It’s intriguing to learn that not all chemicals are harmful and that some are actually necessary for product safety. I guess transparency and education are key in understanding what goes into the skincare products we use
