Use the Microsoft Word ‘Insert caption’ and ‘Insert table table of Figures’ under the ‘References’ tab when adding tables and figures. Doing so prevents images from shifting within the document, updates figure numbers automatically and adds them to the table of figures.

Use Mendeley Reference Manager for easy referencing- make sure you have the chrome extension, Mendeley Web Importer, and the Microsoft Word extension, Mendeley Cite!

Confirm with your tutor the appropriate statistic test for your data.

Make sure your graphs are clear and have labeled axes with units.

Make sure your graph figure legends have the following: a title containing the type of graph portrayed, the sample size (n), the statistical test used, the type of statistic used to show any statistical significance and the P values.
