Preparing for second semester

The first semester has flown by and whether you were a first year who was just surviving, second year who was searching for internships or a third year battling it out to complete all your work there is a lot that can be done to prepare yourself for the second semester.

The biggest thing to do is to reflect, on what went well and what went wrong. Whether this was your schedule, revision strategy, time management or you simply went out way too much it is very easy to make small changes to make the second semester easier for yourself,

Another helpful thing to do is with grades you weren’t overly happy with is to seek out feedback from your tutors on how to improve next time.

And finally don’t be too critical on yourself, University can be challenging and its not a positive gradient all the way to success you will encompass challenges and setbacks and its the methods that allow you to overcome them which makes you stronger.

Completely agree! Especially with the reflection bit. Nothing can prepare you better than reflection on your past experiences😁
