Pro bono: an overview

Pro bono is a blessings for citizens who are unable to afford legal advice and, to be fairly honest, considering the price to request assistance from a law firm, who can blame them? I have personally worked on pro bono cases both at a legal advice centre and at a law firm and I can firmly say it has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Being self-represented in court is tough, so lending a helping hand whenever possible should be the norm in our society.
