Hi everyone, I’ve been to the volunteer fair in my university yesterday and I’d found some really interesting organizations to being participated in. Feel free to go to their websites and explore a little bit by yourself!
This organization is finding volunteer museum assistants to help run the museum on a day-to-day basis, providing a warm welcome to our customers and playing an essential part in our activities. It is certainly a good opportunity for museum lovers!
This organization is looking for enthusiastic and friendly volunteer stewards to help them prepare the venue for a season of live events, offer the visitors a warm welcome, and provide information and assistance to ensure that our events run smoothly and are enjoyed by all. It is certainly suitable for students keen in live music
This one is recruiting volunteers to support children at Solidarity Sports after-school clubs. In practice this may be running through playgrounds with our children, doing arts and crafts, swimming, and many more fun activities. Volunteers will build a positive, trusting relationship with our children, and make them feel special and valued at all times during our projects.

For the one below, it requires volunteers directly support children who are at risk of leaving primary school unable to read well. Struggling to read can contribute to poor educational attainment, lower literacy in adulthood and has even been linked to a lower life expectancy. In this volunteer role, you’ll have 30-minute one-to-one reading sessions on 2 days per week. This is across 6 weeks with a child aged between 5 and 11 years old. Each session will involve reading stories and playing literacy games on the secure online platform or face-to-face.
Hope you find these resources useful! Enjoy your volunteer trip!
