The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is an organisation of the UK Government that provides advice and support for the public and private sector in how to avoid computer security threats.
If you are studying one of the NCSC certified degrees in this list, with at least 2 years of full-time study remaining from September 2025 and you’re on track for at least a 2:1, you can apply for a paid 8 week summer placement in cybersecurity with GCHQ or one of the NCSC’s other partners. There are over 100 organisations to choose from around the UK including Lloyds, BT and Thales.
