Omg, Data Science sounds so fascinating! I love how it blends math, programming, and creativity with visualisation. I’m curious though, how important is having a strong math background when starting out? Can you still succeed in Data Science if you’re more focused on learning the programming side first?

Absolutely! Data Science is awesome! While having a good math background helps, you can definitely start with programming first. You can learn the math you need as you go. There are plenty of resources for that. Just keep practicing! Are you leaning more toward programming or math?

I’ve done a bit of spatial data science using GIS for my degree and use R for running statistical analyses, but I want to get better and more well versed in these programs. Do you have any tips or guides that have helped you do data science work?
