I do think its quite unethical to greenwash and wish companies had more of an ethical motive to help the environment, regardless of how it would make them look and their reputation!

Greenwashing is a major problem for the corporate world specifically. People need to be conscious about statements they make, making sure that they don’t exaggerate impact of their technology, or how sustainable their operations are. No one wants to be caught lying or exaggerating, especially when working with clients

definitely agree the risk of a greenwashing scandal is a deterrent for companies

You don’t say! I think it’s the one that’s gonna stick for a long time if you get caught in it
