I have not been able to do any internships, but shadowing at the pathology department in a hospital made me realise that I’m interested in a career in a clinical laboratory !

Totally agree about career clarity! Before doing my internship, i was so confident that i wanted to work in book publishing. But after a year working in communications, i realised that it’s literally my dream job🥰

It was the same for me! I did a placement last year and it really helps you realise your strengths and weaknesses, and the types of work you do and don’t like! Amazing that you have found an area of work you love!
