A good presentation must have these 4:
- Clear
- Scientifically Sound
- Engaging
- Creative
In this Part 2, we will be including the first two.
3. Engaging:
- Keep your audience in mind
- When presenting:
- Look at your audience
- Voice projection
- Try not to read from notes or slides
- Use images
- Use attention tricks (mimic interview ,animations…)
- Ensure you are telling a ‘story’
- Engage your audience with questions (even if they cannot answer!)
4. Creative:
- Have fun but keep it professional
- Use colours/ themes
- Use different tools(small videos, animations etc)
- Use icons or decorative images(in moderation)
- Show interest
