A good presentation must have these 4:

  1. Clear
  2. Scientifically Sound
  3. Engaging
  4. Creative

In this Part 2, we will be including the first two.

3. Engaging:

  • Keep your audience in mind
  • When presenting:
    • Look at your audience
    • Voice projection
    • Try not to read from notes or slides
  • Use images
  • Use attention tricks (mimic interview ,animations…)
  • Ensure you are telling a ‘story’
  • Engage your audience with questions (even if they cannot answer!)

4. Creative:

  • Have fun but keep it professional
  • Use colours/ themes
  • Use different tools(small videos, animations etc)
  • Use icons or decorative images(in moderation)
  • Show interest
