I chose civil engineering because I’ve always been fascinated by how infrastructure shapes the world we live in. The idea of designing structures that can have a real impact on communities really excites me. Plus, I love the mix of creativity and problem-solving that civil engineering offers—it’s about coming up with practical solutions that are also sustainable, which is something I’m passionate about.

Even though my background is in biomedical science and I’m currently studying medicine, I see so many connections between these fields. Engineering plays a crucial role in developing medical technologies and it’s amazing how these innovations can improve patient outcomes. I find the overlap between engineering and biomedical science so intriguing!
