Finding Mental Support Through 'MIND' : My Experience with Their Free Service

Two months ago, I was overwhelmed with anxiety about my dissertation project. Desperate for help, I found Mind, a free mental health service. After completing their online questionnaires, I was connected with a CBT counselor and started weekly sessions for totally 5 weeks at no cost.

The counselor helped me see my challenges from new perspectives and taught me practical tools to manage my thoughts and stress. Over time, my confidence grew, and my anxiety lessened.

Wow, thanks for sharing this, I didn’t even realise that they provided such a service. Mental health support can often seem inaccessible for students due to the costs that come with it. Glad to hear they offer this helpful service and that it can help students who are facing challenges at uni.
