Location: National/remote with regular attendance at Motorsport UK, Bicester
Hours of Work: Full Time (37.5 hours per week). Core hours are 09:00 until 17:30, Mon – Fri.
Travel Expenses Up to £7,000 pa, depending on location
Role Purpose
Motorsport UK has a Sports Science Internship placement available for 2024/2025. The successful applicant will work closely with the Motorsport UK Academy programmes to assist with the design, development and delivery of talent development provision and support.
The opportunity will suit those who have an interest in the application of sport science to enhance performance, who aspire to work in elite sport in the future and presents the opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners while building your professional network. This is a new role which will provide the opportunity to start the groundwork for new provision and insight within the Academy programmes.
The applicant is required to state the area of sport science they would be interested in undertaking an internship in (coaching science, sport psychology, sports nutrition, strength and conditioning, performance analysis or performance lifestyle).
