Intern with the Bank of England

This internship is designed for students in their penultimate year of their undergraduate degree. It runs for 8 weeks over the summer before you start your final year.

To apply for the Penultimate Year Internship you must meet the below entry requirements:

  • Be in your penultimate year of your undergraduate degree.
  • Expecting a 2.1 degree classification.
  • Achieved 120 UCAS points from 3 A-Levels (or equivalent).

How could you develop?

We’ll assign you to a team where you will work on a specific project. You’ll learn more about our role in the economy and gain ‘on-the-job’ skills.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more by attending talks and networking events.

When you apply, we’ll ask you about your areas of interest.

If your performance is outstanding, we may consider you for a place on our Graduate Programme or Postgraduate Internship.
