This sounds like such an incredible opportunity! I love that it combines real-time news with longer-term projects, which seems like the perfect way to get both quick-paced experience and a deeper dive into specific topics. I’m curious, how competitive is the application process, and do you know if they offer any mentoring or support for interns to help them grow as journalists during the internship? Also, do they typically hire interns for full-time roles after the program ends?

The application is very competitive with few roles up for grabs. There is also support for journalists with mentors to help them practice their skills. Whilst internships don’t directly lead to job roles, the longer internships after graduation may be more likely to lead to employment with the company.
