Many people, including myself, are pretty dissatisfied with what they got from their degree in comparison to what they thought their experience would be before commencing their studies. Thus, I am curious to hear your perspectives on this - be honest!
Some things could have been better, they donāt really teach us how to use a lot of popular technologies that will be used in actual workplaces, but I canāt say that what they taught us so far has been exactly useless
I think my degree (English Literature) is exactly what i expected it to be. But what doesnāt help is that halfway through my second year i realised that i kind of wanted to work in a completely different industry haha So although the degree isnāt to blame for that, it definitely made it a bit less enjoyable
I think my degree was good for someone that was looking to do just marketing and advertising. I was looking for something more creative that involved filming and creating. It was my fault for not choosing the right course. However I enjoyed it and learned a lot
I think not being taught how to use popular technologies is pretty detrimental, especially because you are studying computer science so that should be an important focus lmao
It is never oneās fault for choosing a course! We are pressured to predict what we want to do in the future when are are in high school, so do not feel to bad aboutit! What ould you rather do now?
Itās never late to pursue your dream now!! I know many people who work in this field yet their degree was not related, so there is always hope for you!!
Yeah, it makes me very happy! Although itās sad to see students who donāt really know what to do in life. Honestly think that UKās educational system is failing them a bit
