I prefer taking notes with pen and paper during the lectures then transcript them onto my laptop to have everything organised

Pen and paper for sure. I think i remember stuff better when i write it down myself. Whereas when i type it, the content just doesn’t want to stay in my brain for long🫠

Definitely prefer pen and paper I find making mind maps really useful in helping me remember information as you are forced to break concepts down into manageable pieces 
And even though my handwriting is awful and on occasion I can’t read what I have written it still seems to make the information easier to remember

i take notes on goodnotes for ipad. if there is a lot of text i will type it on microsoft word and i like to draw and add pictures

Goodnotes is a lifesaver for me! It’s this app that lets you take notes, make sketches, and basically organise your entire life. It’s like a notebook, but on your iPad. I have taken all of my uni notes on it!
