Not a medical student - but reading about the work of doctors, nurses and other clinical staff in the NHS makes me wonder why people choose to go into medicine these days.

I’m not a medical student, but I can see why many choose to work abroad: better pay, shorter hours due to a higher number of doctors, and better funding. I believe we should encourage more people to study medicine and enhance the benefits of the profession.
