Not a medical student - but reading about the work of doctors, nurses and other clinical staff in the NHS makes me wonder why people choose to go into medicine these days.

Poor pay, bad conditions and abusive patients - what’s the motivation for becoming a medical professional these days? :person_shrugging:

I’m not a medical student, but I can see why many choose to work abroad: better pay, shorter hours due to a higher number of doctors, and better funding. I believe we should encourage more people to study medicine and enhance the benefits of the profession.
