2024 - 5 years from the 2019 election

2024, marks five years since the 2019 election, with it officially being five years in December. The last five years have been some of the most turbulent years the UK has faced with three prime ministers, the loss of the Queen, the COVID pandemic, global conflict and the economic and social impacts of COVID.

It is clear that their is great dismay with the Conservative party as they continue to trail behind in the polls following the governments legacy over the past five years.

As 2024 starts, the media and parties will look to the next election and everyone will be asking the question of When?. Many predict it will be a May election, however, in reality it could be as late as January 2025.
