This is such a valuable opportunity for anyone passionate about journalism! The Telegraph’s newsroom work experience seems like a great way to get real, hands-on experience alongside top journalists. It’s fantastic that they’re covering travel, food, and accommodation costs, making it more accessible for a wider range of students.

This sounds like such an exciting opportunity! I’ve always been interested in journalism, especially the fast-paced environment of a newsroom. Do you think it’s necessary to already have a lot of experience in journalism to apply, or could someone who’s just passionate and eager to learn still stand out?

If you aren’t working towards your NCTJ qualification or studying a journalism degree then it will be necessary to provide journalism experience or an interest in the subject.
