Decorating my room and joining volleyball club were life saviors during my freshman year! Definitely made it easier to settle down away from home :slight_smile:

It’s totally normal to feel homesick but it all goes away once you start decorating your room, meeting people in clubs… it’s so much fun!!!

Yes, a great way to deal with homesickness is definitely not to forget communicating with your friends and family back home ( message, phone calls) as it can be very easy to “forget” about them when there’s so much going around. Wish I did that better haha
