Whether ChatGPT could be used by law firms in their work has been a hot topic of debate in recent months. The focus has usually been on data protection and client confidentiality. However, another huge problem has been outlined by Bloomberg in their latest article, namely the inaccuracy of ChatGPT when it comes to legal information. I remember that at one point I tested this (obviously not for one of my assignments and the bot provided incorrect answers in relation to the current legislation. Therefore, it is not safe to use it if you are not a lawyer and if you are, you still need to check whether the information is actually accurate. Enjoy reading!

This is of course concerning but at the same time anyone using AI, especially professionals, should be wary of the possibility of receiving wrong answers and should be confirming anything received from AI chatbots
