Peanut allergy warning over dips and sandwiches

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is advising people with peanut allergies to avoid foods containing mustard, as some mustard products may be contaminated with peanuts. Mustard ingredients, found in dips, sauces, salads, and pre-packed sandwiches, have led to the recall of around 50 products, including items from Dominos, SPAR, and Harvester. The contamination has been traced to a supplier in India, and the FSA is working to identify all affected products. Parents of children with peanut allergies should check labels and inquire about ingredients when dining out. The FSA is taking precautions due to the severity of peanut allergies, which can cause symptoms ranging from mild reactions to serious health risks.

How do you think this precautionary recall will impact those with peanut allergies when choosing food products?
