Feeling lonely

University can be a tough time, whether you are a first year, studying abroad, living on your own ro simply feeling bit lonely lately.

Remember loneliness is not to be ignore but its is a normal feeling everyones feels at some point

Dr Julie has some top tips to combat this.

  • Communicate as much as possible, even with someone once a day. Don’t shut down !
  • Express how you feel - communicating or writing it down
  • Improve the moment - treat yourself, do a fun activity
  • Be curious when communicating - ask questions, be nosey.
  • Sharer about you to make a connection
