Has anyone ever struggled to find a house while studying at university

I have always stayed at accomodations but many of my friends have shared flats. They looked at facebook groups by typing the location and adding student house. I hope that helps!

oh god yes it was so frustrating! what i recommend is being part of facebook groups like university accomodation groups, housing groups of the town you are in and any other university related groups you can find. many people whose flatmates are leaving post on these groups to find other students looking for rooms. You should dm those people!
You can also check on different websites but you will have to find other people who are also looking for housing which is tricker so i would recommend facebook groups. Good luck, I know its tough out there😓

Renting is a real pain. Room mates can be messy, loud, annoying and there isn’t much you can do about it. I think every place I’ve rented has had atleast one major issue whether that’s with heating or the fridge. Landlords are often lazy with fixing things and lack communication. I am considering getting a studio flat at this point, more money but might be worth the peace of mind.
